How to Regrip

Golf Club Regripping FAQ

Common questions and answers to regripping your golf clubs the PURE Grips way.

COST TO REGRIP

Regripping with PURE Grips is very economical, especially if you already own a compressor and an air gun! The PURE Green Attachment is less than $10 and fits any standard air compressor attachments.  If you need an air gun and attachment, you can purchase the PURE Air Gun Kit (which includes the PURE Green Attachment) for $29.99!

The price to regrip golf clubs will vary.  But typically, regripping by a club fitter, pro shop, or big box store will range $2-4 per grip.  We recommend checking with your local golf store for pricing.

TIME TO REGRIP

Regripping with PURE Grips takes minutes and will get you to the course with NO downtime. If it is your first time regripping with PURE Grips, expect the process to take a little bit longer, not because installing PURE Grips is time consuming, but because it takes time to clean off that old tape and solvent.  Check out our How To Regrip video to see how easy it is!

Typically regripping using the traditional tape and solvent method will take  1-2 days.  That’s a long time to be without your clubs (and off the course)!  Regripping with PURE Grips will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending upon the number of grips. And the best part…you can play immediately after regripping because PURE Grips requires NO drying time!

When to Regrip

Most golfers replace their grips and regrip yearly at a minimum...especially if they’re not playing PURE Grips!  If you are playing PURE Grips, you don’t need to regrip for 100 USGA rounds.

A majority of other golf grip manufacturers recommend regripping once a year or more if you’re an avid player.
